TABLES OF THE OLD AND NEW COLOR [1]
A. D. 1412
Christ’s way of life opposed to Antichrist’s way of life

by Master Nicholas of Dresden, German Hussite Martyr
“O Lord, will I live to see that blessed hour when the Whore of Revelations will be stripped bare and her flesh consumed by the fire of tribulation?” [2]

The First Table

OLD COLOR - DIVINE LAW

Christ:[3] The last among men.
If any man would come after me,
let him take up his cross and
follow me.
NEW COLOR HUMAN LAW

Antichrist:[4] The Supreme Pontiff,
employing the insignia of the apostolic office.

St. Bernard to Pope Eugene III:
“Read the life of Christ from the womb of his mother to his death on the cross, and you will find nothing but the marks of poverty. In regard to these things[5] you are the successor of Constantine, not of Peter."

Blind Faith says:
Christ, true God and true man.

Christ:
The foxes have holes and the
birds of the sky have nests;
but
the Son of Man does not
have
where to lay his head.

When Jesus therefore perceived
that they would come and take him, to make him a king, he fled to a mountain himself alone.

Man, who made me a judge or divider  over you? Take heed and beware of all covetousness.

They clothe him in purple and weave a crown of thorns and put it on him.

The Pope – a wondrous being,
neither God nor man.”[6]

Constantine:[7]
“We give to blessed Silvester and his successors the palace  of our Empire. We decree that they may ride horses decked out  in caparisons and coverings of purest white, and we also confer upon them the various imperial ornaments and all the glory of our power, as well as giving them the estates that we possess and enriching them with various properties.”[8]

Peter crucified [9]

As for you, follow me. You will stretch out your hands and another will gird you and lead you where you do not wish to go.

Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, gold and silver, from your futile way of living, but with precious blood, like that of a spotless lamb, the blood of Jesus Christ.

“I, Emperor Lewis,[10]grant to you, Blessed Peter, and to your successors, the city of  Rome with its duchy and suburbs and territories, in perpetuity, just as you have held them in your power and sway from our predecessors to the present, and have disposed over them.”[11]

Excerpts from Table 9

[A picture depicting the Pope as the Antichrist surrounded with whores.]

Oh idol shepherd that leaveth the flock!

An idol is nothing in the world.

And the king shall do according to his will and shall divide the land for gain.

And he shall be greedy for the enjoyment of women….You then are he of whom I have spoken in old time.

“The Kingdom of Antichrist refers in a certain sense to the Roman Kingdom, from which he will arise.”[12]

“There is no power on earth that is like his, nor anyone who can say to him, ‘Why do you thus?’”[13]

Then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor shall ever be.

“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them. And he shall cause whoever does not adore – that is, obey – the image of the beast – that is, Antichrist, the Beast-man – to be killed. And he shall not allow any man to buy – that is, bring in a good life, or win servants for God, or seek after truth – or sell – that is, teach or preach – except him who has the mark of Antichrist – that is, who conforms to him in life and doctrine.”[14]

“But in that time the faithful will not preach, for the good [Christian] will be regarded as the excommunicate.”[15]

“And his feet were as the feet of a bear. The feet of the Antichrist are the preachers who carry him through the world; and just as the bear is a foul animal, who tramples with his feet and devours, who loves honey and sweet things, so [the preachers] are foul in their carnal lust, and they will trample those who refuse to consent to them, and they love sweet things – that is, temporal goods.”[16]

“The Antichrist will be born in Babylon. Babylon is Rome.”[17]

The wicked shall do wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand – that is, the devout, who are diligent in the study of Scripture.”[18]

“Thus it is clear that the understanding of this prophecy is not hidden from the good and the devout, but only from the evil and impious.”[19]

Blessed is he that watches and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.

So he sits in the temple of God, showing himself as God. Whose coming is with all the seduction of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they have not received the love of the truth….He shall humble kings and think he can change laws and times.

And then shall that wicked one be revealed whom the Lord Jesus shall consume with the spirit of his mouth.

For the mountains shall be thrown down – that is, many of the priests, prelates, and princes – and the fences shall fall – that is the regulars and the theologians shall fall away from the faith of Christ, in the time of the Antichrist. Therefore, the Antichrist shall not be revealed by such theologians, but by those who walk in sackcloth.”[20]

Excerpts from other Tables

OLD COLOR

Christ:[21]
Know you what I have done
to you?
You call me master
and lord and you say well,
for so I am. If I then, your
lord
and master, have washed your
feet, you also ought to wash
one another’s feet. The servant
is not
greater than his lord;
neither is he
that is sent
greater than he that sent
him.
If you know these things, happy

are you if you do them. I speak
not
of you all; I know whom I
have
chosen….Call no man
your father
upon the earth, for
one is your father
who is in
heaven. He that is greatest
among you shall be your
servant. And
whosoever shall
exalt himself shall be
abased;
and he that shall humble
himself shall be exalted.

NEW COLOR

Antichrist:
The Servant of the Servants
of God receiving kisses on his blessed hands and feet.  The Pope responds: ‘Let it be done as it is asked.’

OLD COLOR

Christ:[22]
Jesus found in the temple those
that sold and bought sheep and oxen and doves, and the changers of money sitting.
And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them
all out of the temple, and the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers’ money.
……Thy money perish with thee!
NEW COLOR

Antichrist:
“Money is what the Curia likes best, it empties many a purse and chest. If you are stingy with your marks, stay away from popes and patriarchs.
But give them marks, and once their chests are filled you will be absolved from the bondage of all your guilt.”
