MARK OF THE BEAST X

In reading the responses to my last posting, though there were numerous jibes and sarcastic comments, not one person was competent enough to refute the clear teachings of the Catholic Church Magisterium which I had outlined. In all my posts I have stayed within the bounds of official Catholic teaching, using only authoritative sources, to prove the fulfillment of prophecy in the Roman Catholic Church and her Papacy.

Though I have only scratched the surface in this study, I have shown that the odds of fulfilling the 12 prophecies thus far elaborated are one in one trillion, given a probability ratio of one in ten.  By this we are to understand that the coincidence of such a statistical probability places it outside the realm of chance. The same can be said of the statistical probability of one other than Jesus Christ fulfilling the OT prophecies. It is one thing to claim to be the predicted Christ by entering Jerusalem upon a donkey to prove the fulfillment of Zechariah 9:9, it is quite another to be born and die as predicted. In like manner, the Holy Spirit has given His Elect Church the signs and marks of the Antichrist: his birthplace, his rise to power, his reign, his religion, his name, his traits and characteristics, and his false miracles, all for the purpose of identifying him that the Church may not be confused or misdirected. Why identify him? The Lord God tells us he is Satan's masterpiece of deception in the end days, i.e., the age of the NT, and by the Antichrist we can know the true Church from the false, our true brothers and sisters from false brothers and sisters. God's people are commanded to touch not the unclean thing, to come out of her, to have no fellowship with works of darkness.  Those who obey the Antichrist disobey Jesus Christ. Those who continue to disobey Jesus Christ are not Christians, though they may profess to be His: "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them and they follow me."

In my last post I stressed the importance of obedience to the Pope. Taking the Mark/Characterem of the papal Beast through Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Orders is necessary for one to come into initial communion with the Bast and his Church. However, full communion is only realized through obedience to the Beast. Those who disobeyed, though they had received his spiritual Mark on their souls, were singled out for excommunication which includes no buying or selling, nor Christian burial.

To further prove the necessity of obedience in the Mark of the Beast, I now  quote an excerpt from the Creed of Pius iV., A. D. 1564, which is used today with converts to the Catholic faith, (with at least one addition to it to reflect Papal Infallibility). It is only apropos I use the official Catholic Converts Oath on the Catholic Converts Message Board.

"………… I acknowledge the holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Roman Church to be the mother and mistress of all churches; and I promise and swear true obedience to the Bishop of Rome, the successor of St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles, and Vicar of Jesus Christ……………"

Although the Protestant Reformers, including Wycliffe, Luther and Calvin, received the indelible Mark/Characterem of the Beast allegedly on their souls, they did not render obedience to the Beast. Their obedience was to the Lamb. The power of the Seal of God is greater than the Mark of the Beast. The Mark of the Beast has no power over the blood-bought, Holy Ghost-filled, fire baptized child of God.

"Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." (1 John 4:4).

"In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." (John 16:33).

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." (Rev. 12:11).

On April 18^th,  a person named 'Inquirer' asked how it is that the Pope could be the Antichrist if there have been 200+ of them. I respond: The Pope is the king of his kingdom, the kingdom of the Antichrist. When he dies he is replaced by another, so that his seat (read: throne)is not vacant. In this the Antichrist resembles the Presidency of the United States. The person filling the office of the Presidency is the President. He is replaced every 8 years, if not sooner, with another person also called 'President.' Therefore, the Antichrist is a dynasty of individuals who hold the office of the Papacy. The reigning Pope is the Antichrist. This fact is taught in Daniel, Matthew 24 and the Revelation, for example. It is a full study unto itself. There have been different interpretations as to which Pope was the first to be the Antichrist. But these controversies need not concern us today. The Antichrist with whom we have to do is presently here in our midst. When he dies, and he will die, another will be elected to replace him. At that time his replacement will be the Antichrist with whom we have to do.

On April 18^th, Seminarian Tom Jeffords asked questions regarding the Catholicity of the early Church, and the Apocrypha. Neither of these questions have bearing on the issue at hand: the fulfillment of the present-day Church of Rome as Mystery Babylon and her current Pope as the Antichrist. If my proofs are true and verifiable, which they are, then Mr. Jeffords need reevaluate his spiritual allegiances based on the generation of the Roman Catholic Church into which the sovereign Lord of the Universe birthed Mr. Jeffords.

His final question does have bearing on this study, however. He asks, "Explain how the Holy Spirit could have lead Christianity into error for 1500 plus years I will leave this Catholic seminary and the Catholic Church today."

To begin, Scripture does not teach the rise, reign and tyranny of the papal Beast with Mystery Babylon, the Roman Church, to be immediate. Therefore, to equate Jerome and Augustine, for example, with Mystery Babylon is erroneous. We know this because in Rev. 17 we are told that Mystery Babylon is drunken with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. The program of mass extermination of dissident Christians was not to begin until the 2nd millennium, as history so vividly testifies. There are, however, historical proofs that Mystery Babylon was in the making throughout the first millennium, and even in the days of Paul, when the mystery of iniquity was already at work.

Once one understands the several prophecies which delineate and pinpoint the Beast and his Church, one is then able to grasp the predicted longevity of them according to the sovereign will of God. For example, the Kingdom Parables teach the concurrent growth of the tares among the wheat in the visible professing Christian Church, the tares not being judged until the end of the world. This same doctrine is taught in the Dragnet Parable by using the similitude of good and bad fish judged at the end of the world.

Monty of Tulsa has been asking some perceptive questions because of the witness of a female Protestant librarian. Something bothers Monty. And it should. How is it the alleged true Church of Christ on earth, holy Mother Catholic Church, could systematically, by official decree of the Popes, brutalize, torture, maim, and murder innocent women, children and elderly for century after century after century? Is not this the fruit of the Church of Antichrist who comes to steal, kill and destroy? (John 10:10).

Lord willing, next time my goal is to explain the fulfillment of Rev. 13:13 in the Church of Rome and her two-horned bishops.
