Answers to Catholic Converts, 2 Jmcrae continues, "I don't know where you're from, but where I'm from, boys and young men in the poorer part of town sometimes get into gun fights. These boys often wear the bullets that killed their friends on necklaces and in amulets, as a memorial to their courage." I respond: Jmcrae would have us emulate lawless, cowardly heathen gang members? Please be serious. Head Hunters in remote corners of the world wear the shrunken heads of their victims as 'remembrances.' I find the crucifix with a dead Christ chillingly similar. A more mature female member of this message board, Rebecca, (whose namesake runs the FCFC web site and board), states, " although everyone is getting a terrible kick out of what appears to be a really ridiculous, unfounded connection that you have made, please know that we would be very happy and willing to have a serious discussion with you about any differences we have." I respond: The subject of Bible prophecy is quite serious and one which should not be taken lightly, censored, or ignored. The ramifications of the Revelation are such that to not rightly understand its meaning and import is to prove oneself to be either, (a) an infant Christian; (b) a deceived Christian; (c) a false Christian; (d) an outright pagan. Rebecca continues, "You say there is a difference between a "seal" and a "character", and show us your knowledge of Greek, and then you jump to the conclusion that a character is necessarily something evil, while a seal is good. How so?" I respond: The answer to that excellent question is unfolding with each teaching. The Holy Spirit has purposefully pointed out the CHARACTER or MARK of the Antichrist, given by his body of false prophets. He has shown the difference between this Mark and the seal of God, also given in the forehead, but done by the divine will and agency of God. I have intentionally started with presenting the startling Scriptures pertaining to the Mark, CHARACTEREM, of the Beast and its fulfillment in the Church of Rome. From this I make my argument via inductive reasoning. In and of itself, the indelible CHARACTEREM imprinted on the soul claimed openly by the Roman Catholic Church proves nothing. But, if it can be shown, by empirical evidence, that the Church of Rome, her episcopal body, and her head, the Pope, fulfill the entire array of key prophetic Antichrist passages beyond a reasonable doubt, then we must also agree that the Bishop of Rome is that Antichrist predicted to come. If this is so, then from him and his church we must flee or be forever damned. (Rev. 18:4). The prophecies of the false church, Mystery Babylon, and her false Christ, the Antichrist, not only delineate specific, unique characteristics by which they may be positively identified by God's Elect, but they also explain why the Lord God's unswerving wrath and judgment await them. It is not condemnation for no good reason. In studying the reasons for their punishment we learn the heart and mind of the true God. To know the true God is of paramount importance if we are to worship Him in spirit and truth, (John 4:24). If we posit a random statistical probability to each of the numerous points I have presented thus far, we can, perhaps, more clearly see the staggering odds needed in fulfilling the biblical prophecies of the Antichrist. Let us assume, for the sake of easy computation, a low statistical probability of 1 in 10. I have thus far presented evidence that: (1) The Church of Rome gives the Mark or Character foretold in Rev. 13 by virtue of its identical name, CHARACTEREM. (2) The Church of Rome does so with the right hand and forehead. (3) The Church of Rome does so by the authority of its priesthood. (4) The Church of Rome does so to all people, rich, poor, young, old, etc. before they can be accepted into its fold. (5) The Church of Rome retains an episcopal body who wear two-horned miters. (6) The Church of Rome subjects this episcopal body to the authority of the Pope, the greater bishop. (7) The Pope alone gives this episcopal body the authority to exercise its power in his name. (8) Apart from the authority of the Pope, the episcopal body can do nothing. (9) By nature of the description of the prophecy in Rev. 13 ff., we must conclude that the Holy Spirit is teaching that a body of false Christians will arise to give this Mark, which is an imitation of the seal of God. Therefore, to fulfill this prophecy the church of the beast must claim Christ. The Church of Rome claims to be the true Christian Church on earth. To discover the probability or 'odds' that one church can fulfill these few prophecies, we must multiply 1X10X10X10X10X10X10X10X10X10 = 1 chance in one billion. I tell you the truth, I have barely scratched the surface in presenting the prophecies and their fulfillment in the Church of Rome and her Papacy. Lord will, I will continue answering more questions.
